15 Month Check Up and other Randomness...

I'm super excited to be blogging tonight, not that I have anything super exciting to share, I'm just thrilled that I have the time to do it! This is the first night in about 2 weeks that I haven't had to work in the evenings until about 11:00. I took a new job at work but since we are nearing our fiscal year end, I've had to finish up in the current job while training of the new one. Suffice it to say its been crazy and I'm so ready for Monday when I can for the most part move over and focus solely on the new job! :) So - that my busy update, I haven't been doing squat but work! On to the more exciting part of the post: Ryleigh's 15 month check up.

Last week, I took Ryleigh for her check up and here are the current stats: Ryleigh is 19lbs. 12oz., and 28 3/4 inches long. She is in the 10th percentile in all areas, so that's good. Dr. did tell me that she needed to be off of the bottle by 18 months old. So, we started working on the immediately. We have now gone successfully 6 days without a bottle - I think she'll be just fine. I was surprised at how easy it was to transition to using only sippy cups. I was very concerned about when the Dr would tell me to start taking away the "sas" (pacifier). Surprisingly enough, she said that if Ryleigh didn't use it all the time (which she doesn't) that I never have to take it away, but that she'll give it up when she is ready! :) That made my day, one less thing to stress over! Other than that I don't really have a ton of updates on Ryleigh, she is really close to walking, just hasn't figured out that she can let go and do it herself. I expect that it will be any day now.

In other news, I've posted a few pictures of Ryleigh watching from her first Razorback game this year. I got her a super cute Razorback cheerleading outfit and we managed to use her matching bow without her constantly pulling it off! We're working on calling the hogs still, she's got the wooooooooo thing down with hands in the air, and that's about as far as we get! Oh well, work in progress I guess. She is quite the talker these days repeating everything we say (wonder where she gets that gene!) so it shouldn't be too much longer until she gets the whole thing!
Well, since this is my first night to not have to stay up till 11:00, I think I'm going to leave you all with some pictures and take my happy self to bed! Hope everyone has a great weekend! :)

This picture was just too cute. Ryleigh watches me carry in all the bags (purse, diaper bag, lunch tote, etc) everyday and this week, she decided to try and help me! :) The things kids pick up on!
