Ta Da!

This post is for all of you who have been bugging me about updating! :) Kyle finished painting the nursery last Monday night...well actually it was about 2:00a.m Tuesday morning! I don't think he anticipated it taking quite that long when he started, but he got to the point where he didn't want to clean all the paint stuff up just to pull it all back out the next night. I didn't stay up to help him or even provide any moral support - I was in my nice, warm, cozy bed. However, he did make sure to tell me all about his experience including how cold it was at 2:00 in the morning when he went outside to rinse all the painting equipment in shorts, t-shirt and flip flops. For those of you that don't live around here or just don't remember, last week the overnight temps were in the low 40's! Anyways, despite how tired he was on Tuesday, I think he's glad that the room is finished (at least his part!) and so am I. Now all we're missing is all the accessories and baby! :) I guess when you put it like that, the nursery isn't even close to being done - but the painting was definitely a huge step! I've posted the final pictures below. Just a disclaimer, these pictures don't exactly depict the actual colors of the room. They look a lot better in person - but for now this is the best I've got!

Here is a picture of our hamper - this is from the bedding set that we hope to get. I just had to buy this piece so we could match paint colors!
