It's A Girl

Ok, the title of this post pretty much says it all...not much I can add to that :) Ultasound went very well today. The ultrasound tech. was very impressed with the quality of the scan, the pictures were clear (good thing, cause I have a hard time making out various body parts on those pictures most of the time)! The only complaint I have right now is that the DVD they gave me is not working! :( Being that I am not the least bit savvy on how to manuiplate things like DVD...that will have to wait for Kyle to get home, maybe he can figure it out! I'll try to get some of the pics posted here soon, but for now the important part is that she is healthy, and everything looks good. I will just say this - I was worried about her being asleep this morning where I might not get to find out the sex. So after much deliberation, thought, and advice from others I decided to get up early, make sure to eat breakfast (since I usually don't eat till lunchtime) and drink a huge glass of orange juice. Sounds good right? Wrong...that whole thing just about made me miserable! I was so bloated and huge feeling all morning that I still haven't eaten today! :) So, after explaining to the Dr. why I felt miserable he laughed uncontrollably while telling me that they more than likely would still have been able to tell me the gender without going through all that mess! So, glad I found out - but never again will I eat and drink that much before going for an appointment where all they do is push on your stomach for roughly 30 minutes!

One last thing - for those of you that voted on the poll due to Allison's facebook note - do me a favor and go tell her how excited you are that she was right, you'll make her day! Mine too, cause maybe then she won't rub it in so bad! :)
