Ice Storm 2009

So, the weathermen were finally right, we got what they predicted....tons of ice. This storm moved in late in the afternoon on Monday, and the precipatation finally stopped late last night. Kyle and I still don't have power, so thankfully his parents are letting us stay with them tonight! We've done our time in a cold house with no heat/air, so I am thankful that we have family that will let us stay with them! I've posted some pictures of our house so you can see the damage. Our city and the surrounding ones look like a war zone. Trees and power lines are down everywhere. Luckily the trees in our front yard were far enough away that the house wasn't damaged, but I still can't get my car out of the garage! In addition are the power lines around the corner, based on how close they are to the road, I'm pretty sure that's why I still have no power :)
