I'm hoping this post doesn't jinx me - but over the past week or so we've started to have really good nights with Ryleigh. Last Friday and Saturday she went 8 hours overnight between feedings which was awesome! Then she went back to about 5 hours for a few days and last night it was 6 and a half. So she is definitely getting there, which is a good thing. She is getting so big and we are starting to see more and more of her personality as the days go by. We weighed her on Sunday and she was right at 9 pounds! We take her to the Dr. for her 2 month checkup on Monday, so we'll see the official numbers then. She has just started to smile a little bit - although its very sporadic and never on cue :) Also, she has really started to try and talk during her feedings (and by talk I mean she sighs and grunts) which just cracks me up. In fact, sometimes during feedings she really sounds angry earning her the nickname "angry eater." She is also starting to hold her head up more on her own (unfortunately I don't have pictures of this yet!) Speaking of pictures, Kyle and I have become picture crazy again with Ryleigh because she is now outgrowing many of her clothes so there are a lot of cute outfits that she might only be able to wear once. So, we've been dressing her up and just taking pictures in all her outfits! I've posted a few more of our pictures below!
