I haven't posted an update in awhile, so this one will be a little lengthy. In the past couple of week, I have ventured our more with Ryleigh. We've taken her to her first restaurant, taken her on her first walk, and we have also visited Mimi's office, my office, and Daddy's office. Oh - I also took her to Wal-Mart - now that's an important "first"! Ha! This weekend, we also gave Ryleigh her first bottle - well not we, Daddy got to feed her. Kyle and I have a wedding to attend this weekend, so Nana and Papa have to babysit. So, we figured we'd try the bottle to make sure she would take one - we aren't going to have any problems! :)
Many of you have been asking me how big Ryleigh is and how much she weighs and I didn't have a clue until this weekend. Kyle was out of town for a bachelor party, so I spent Saturday night with Nana and Papa. So there's another first - Ryleigh's first overnight stay! I have to say, it went very well, my parents tell me they didn't even hear us get up in the middle of the night! Anyways, on Sunday morning Papa suggested that we weigh Ryleigh. My parents still have a very nice scale that was used to weigh ingredients at the cookie store, so we used that! I have been telling people that I though Ryleigh was in the 6lb range and possibly close to 7 lbs. This mom was dead wrong! She weighed in at 8lbs, 2oz (with clothes and a diaper on)! She is getting so big! She is really starting to fill out too, she is now sporting rolls on her thighs, chubby cheeks, and even a double chin! Yep - she is absolutely adorable! It's amazing to me that this description indicates a cute and healthy baby, but if used on an adult it would indicate obesity! Funny how things change as we get older :)
Here is Ryleigh with Papa for some nap time! :)

I've also gotten the question "Who do you think she looks like?" I've posted a baby picture of me around the same age as Ryleigh - I'll let you all decide!
I'm on the right :)

Here is Ryleigh
That's about all I have in the way of update, I'll try to have more pictures posted soon!

Love those cheeks! Reminds me of my chubby little angel! :) She's sweet, Shannon! Hope the next few weeks seem slower (but since my baby just turned 10 months old, I can assure you they really don't seem to at all!!)!
