The Name...

Ok, I've waited almost a week to post the name. Surprisingly enough, Kyle and I came to an agreement on the name in record time - considering that up until last Monday, we hadn't even thought about names for a girl! I was really worried that this decision would take us forever, but it literally happened in about 30 minutes. That's got to be a God thing because I don't think we've ever made a major decision in 30 minutes! So, I only hesitate to post the name since we've had a boys name picked out forever (meaning way before I was pregnant or even thinking about being pregnant!) but about 5 weeks ago, I suddenly decided that I hated the name! Yeah, so we had to start over on the boy name list - obviously not necessary now :) So part of me is terrified that once I spread the name to everyone and their dog, I'll end up changing my mind at the last minute. I know that sounds crazy, but it happens, ask my mother! :) So, I'm divulging the name since I'm 99% sure that it won't change - but as I've said before, I'm not making any promises! We decided on Ryleigh Grace as the name.

We're working on picking nursery colors/bedding/decorations, but one major decision a week is about all I can handle at this point! Kyle is very anxious to get started on the painting/decorating so I'm sure I won't get much of a break before I am forced to start making all kinds of other decisions. The one decision that's got me stressed, for lack of a better word, is daycare. Unfortunately especially given today's economy, I will have to go back to work - so we've got to find someone or a daycare to watch Ryleigh. That's a big decision - definitely bigger than how I'm going to decorate the nursery or what I am going to register for! That being said, I'll need all the wisdom I can get in making this decision - so all prayers or advice would be greatly appreciated! And...if you are local and are interested in watching a newborn - let me know! LOL :)
